GENERAL CULTURE ROOMS

  • Control of the general cleanliness of the rooms.
  • General maintenance of the rooms (cleaning of equipment, removal of plastic and glass waste, replacement of material).
  • Control of the proper functioning and preventive maintenance of the equipment in the general culture rooms (incubators, cabinets, microscopes, water baths, vacuum pumps, centrifuges, pipettors, etc).
  • Annual validations of the culture cabinets.
  • Elaboration of cleaning and maintenance protocols.
  • Elaboration of protocols and records of use of various common devices located in the culture rooms.
  • Serum testing
  • Mycoplasma testing
  • Testing of contamination in incubators, cabinets and water baths.
  • Maintenance of appropriate documentation.
  • Elaboration of costs according to CSIC instructions.
  • Charging of costs to users on a monthly basis

CRYOPRESERVATION OF CELLS

  • Control of the use of the liquid nitrogen facility of the Institute.
  • Control and surveillance of the operation of the Institute's liquid nitrogen facility.
  • Maintenance of the mandatory documentation.
  • Elaboration of rules of use of the installation.
  • Economic breakdown by user and invoicing of costs, according to CSIC instructions.
