Research Departments
The main activity of the Biomedical Research Institute is top-level scientific research in the field of Biology and Biomedicine. From its origins in enzymology and endocrinology, it has been adapting to changes in science in recent years. The incorporation of new groups is based precisely on covering those areas of recent development.
Depending on their study interests and affinity, current groups are associated to research departments to cover various sections of scientific activity. There are four research departments at present:
